Pulse is how a store sells: checkout, price, promotions, loyalty, and the work of opening and closing the shop. Sales and payments become the record the rest of the company uses.

Why this is not a module of SAP, NetSuite, or Dynamics
Retail in those suites is a channel that exists to raise an invoice. The till is signed into that financial sale, and a shop that loses its connection waits on the finance system. Pulse is how the shop sells: price, promotion, loyalty, and the open and close of the day, including while the store is offline. The sale belongs to the store. The books take it afterwards.
What the business runs here
- The sale itself: a basket, a sale parked and taken back, how the customer pays, and tax
- Catalogues, variants, price schedules, campaigns, coupons, and loyalty
- Stock reserved for a store, buy online and pick up in store, stock in other locations, exchanges, and partial refunds
- Registers, safe counts, open and close checklists, scanners, printers, scales, and payment terminals
- Selling through a network outage, including payments and promotions held until the store reconnects
How it works with the rest of the company
Atlas, Beacon, Orbit, Crew, and Nexus take the sale from Pulse. The cashier companion app runs the till. Store associates use the staff companion app.
